SONA POLIAKOVA

Sona has everything what it takes to be the perfect General Manager of the Come To The U.S. project. She studied Business & Tourism for her Bachelor's Degree and Marketing & Business Management for her Master's at the University of Economics in Bratislava. Sona worked at one of the biggests travel agencies processing Exchange Programs in Slovakia and also took part of the Work & Travel program for four times. Sona later returned to the U.S. for a training for 12 months. With her international background - working in Greece, Malta and the U.S. and superb customer service, she understands the clients on both the student's and the host employer's side. SILVIA CERNAN GUTIERREZ

Silvia studied at the Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava and during her studies she took part of the Erazmus exchange progam at Bicocca University in Milan, Italy. After graduating, she was traveling and working in 23 different countries and in 13 states of USA. Silvia understands the complexity and hassle of relocation to a new country and starting a new working experience. Her goal as a Director of NYC Branch is to offer many options to those who want to temporarily try living in the Big Apple and to make sure that the preparations, arrival and the whole experience in general were pleasant and simple. SILVIA SLOBODOVA

Silvia earned her Master's Degree from the Faculty of management at the Comenius University in Bratislava. During her studies she participated in exchange programs for four times. Silvia loves networking and is very people-oriented; therefore she decided to use her experience and connections to make it easier for others to live their American dreams and founded ComeToTheUS.com. Her primary goal was to educate students about the benefits of exchange programs in the U.S. because she believes "It is life-changing." After living in the U.S. for 6 years, Silvia currently lives in Slovakia and helps with promotion and support.
